The Ohio Chamber Alliance, Inc. (TOCA) is a statewide growth association founded in 1991 to provide discounted employee benefit programs to business and industry. TOCA provides associations and individual employers the opportunity to evaluate employee benefit programs and utilization of local services while promoting cooperation with the association and employer communities. Our goal is to provide the highest level of quality employee benefits and services available with emphasis on, but no limited to, community networking, utilization of community expertise, promoting community services, and networking with available community associations such as the local chambers of commerce, trade associations, employer groups and government agencies.TOCA members benefit from participation by deriving purchasing power with discounted services such as group and individual health care plans, workers’ compensation programs, qualified retirement plans and other related benefits. As the TOCA continues to grow, the more benefits we are able to offer to our coalition.
Business and trade associations recognize the real value and benefits of participating in coalitions such as TOCA. They can offer a wider variety of services without using their own valuable resources and without losing the individual identity of the sponsoring association.
Associations and organizations are not charged dues, however, they must sponsor a workers’ compensation program, be a participant in our group and individual health insurance plan or sponsor a TOCA qualified retirement plan. Market access fees are charged annually to endorsed vendors providing the opportunity to market their services to the TOCA association and organization members. The market access fees are then shared with chambers and associations endorsing the individual plan. There are no dues for individual employers or chambers.
TOCA also provides a great networking opportunity to vendors and businesses to market in areas where TOCA is endorsed. This networking opportunity provides for advertising in chamber and trade association newsletters as well as participation in business expos, after-hours business socials and resource materials.
